The Set Up: Noelle is stranded on the motorway during a blizzard when she meets Sam, and knows instantly they were meant to meet. They part ways, but over the next few months, fate seems determined to bring them back together time and time again.
This one had been on my TBR for a couple of years and I’m glad I finally picked it up! Alexa, play ‘invisible string’ by Taylor Swift!!
Eight Perfect Hours was a cozy romance, with a bit of a bittersweet edge to it. I actually came away with an appreciation for every character. They all felt very real and self-aware. Messy but mature at the end.
I thought the book was well written and well paced, and as much about mental health and grief as it was about a romance. Parts of the plot were fairly predictable, but it was still so satisfying to see how everything came together in the end.
I’d say give this one a shot if you’re a fan of Emily Stone, Jenny Bayliss, or Josie Silver, my three queens of holiday and winter romance.
